The Nawarddeken Academy vision has been made possible by our exceptional partners

Warddeken Land Management

The Traditional Owners of the Warddeken Indigenous Protected Area formed Warddeken Land Management Ltd. in 2007. Warddeken is an Aboriginal owned, not-for-profit company that combines traditional ecological knowledge with Western science to manage and protect one of Australia’s most unique environments.

The Karrkad Kanjdji Trust (KKT)

Established by Traditional Owners of the Warddeken and Djelk IPAs in 2010 to support their vision for healthy Country. Since then, KKT has maintained a majority Bininj board and continued to engage in holistic fundraising that supports Nawarddeken’s conservation efforts and the needs and aspirations of communities including Early Learning and Secondary education.

Bininj Kunwok Regional Language Centre

BKRLCC Ltd supports the maintenance, and where possible, the revival of Indigenous Australian languages of Kakadu National Park, western Arnhem Land and central Arnhem Land. We manage a community owned cultural archive of more than 50,000 items including texts, audio files, videos, maps, site surveys, literature, traditional music, art documentation, academic publications and photographs.

Association of Independent Schools NT

The AISNT was formed in 1989, as a not-for-profit umbrella organization, to represent, promote and advocate the diverse interests of Independent Schools throughout the Northern Territory. There are 26 Independent Schools located across the NT with 36 campuses, offering choice and diversity to the communities they serve. Independent Schooling also contributes positively to the social and economic growth within the NT.
